北京地铁八通线为城市东部郊区线，客流具有明显的向心特征，高达八成的客流在四惠或四惠东站换乘地铁1号线进入中心城，针对贯通运营的呼声和期盼一直不断。本文回顾了1号线和八通线的建设历史，梳理了一八贯通的规划条件，总结了国外轨道交通市区线与郊区线衔接的经验，借鉴东京案例，分析了八通线在早期规划设计阶段的不足，论述了一八贯通改造的必要性，并通过比选确定了采用四组道岔连接的贯通方案，方案兼顾贯通和分段两种运营组织模式，既能提供更精细化的客运组织，又能起到降本增效的作用，在此基础上整合了贯通改造技术标准，提出了不低于既有线建设阶段设计规范的原则，最后为了在施工中保持线路运营和场段功能，采用了三阶段方案逐步贯通，取得了良好的改造效果。新中国第一条地铁线1号线为优化线路衔接关系进行的成功改造，开创了我国城市轨道交通发展史上新的里程碑。

Batong Line is situated in the eastern part of Beijing. Passengers have expected pass-though operation between Beijing Metro Line 1 and Batong Line for a long time as a result of strong centripetal travel demand, and more than 80 percent of passengers transfer at Sihui Station and Sihuidong Station for working in central city. With the review of Line 1 and Batong Line construction, the paper sorts out the planning conditions for the pass-through operation, and summarizes the experience of overseas urban rail transit lines connected with suburban lines. Based on the Tokyo urban rail transit case, the shortcomings of the Batong Line at the early planning and design stage are analyzed and the needs for pass-through service renovation is discussed. A scheme with four turnouts was determined through alternative comparison. The renovation plan for the pass-through service considers both through and separate operating modes, which can not only provide a more refined passenger transportation management, but also play a role in Saving & Efficiency. On this basis, the technical standards for the pass-through renovation are integrated and the principle of design specifications not lower than the construction phase of the existing line is proposed. Finally, in order to maintain the regular operation of the line and depot during construction, a three-stage proposal was adopted for gradual through service and a favorable renovation effect was achieved. The renovation of Line 1, China's first subway line, has successfully optimized the connection between Line 1 and Batong Line, creating a new milestone in the history of urban rail transit development in China.
