According to the existing government documents and national standards，the paper systematically summarized and studied risk assessment contents，procedures，methods，and related management requirements for the preliminary design of Beijing subway construction，and emphatically put forward the standards，principles of risk classification，intrinsic risk of engineering projects and the key-points of the special assessment for high environmental impact risks，which will be conducive to carrying out risk assessments in depth，guiding design optimization and strengthening risk management．
