From the viewpoint of safety of urban rail transit construction and based on the actual demands of users，authors of the paper established a database for safety of urban rail transit construction and designed the corresponding data modules of accident information． Using the computer techniques to carry out information management，we can achieve the electronic and standardized preservation for the information of accidents and risks． This database allows for the statistical analysis of accidents and can find out their regularities，so that we can achieve prevention in advance，share the resources，reduce the security accidents and provide decision-making basis for the managers and constructors．
